Angel Smart Tables selected for Pitch! 2026 at Sydney Opera House
Regulating the Game has announced Angel Smart Tables as the latest technology selected to feature at Pitch!, an innovation showcase taking place at the Sydney Opera House on 9 March 2026 as part of Regulating the Game 2026.
Angel Smart Tables was chosen for its ability to deliver accurate, real-time table-game data — a capability long missing from a part of the casino floor that has relied on manual observation and inconsistent record-keeping.
Using video-assisted artificial intelligence and RFID modules, the platform captures precise, player-level data in real time, including buy-ins, betting patterns and stake sizes across all tables and sessions, time on table, win/loss and turnover, and full historical play patterns for individual patrons.
For operators and regulators, this represents the first reliable source of auditable table-game data capable of supporting informed interventions, stronger compliance and enhanced safer-gambling frameworks.
Developed over ten years, the Smart Table platform is already deployed in Macau, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia, with installations underway in New Zealand. Casinos are using it to improve game security, detect counterfeit chips, prevent past-posting and gain deeper insight into patron behaviour.
