Regulating the Game 2026 confirms Entain ANZ CEO Andrew Vouris as featured speaker

With experience spanning Tabcorp, esports and wagering platforms, and private equity-backed ventures, Andrew Vouris, CEO of Entain Australia and New Zealand, will bring a perspective on compliance and regulatory challenges to Regulating the Game 2026.

The conference is scheduled for March 9–11 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Now in its sixth year, Regulating the Game is an international forum on gambling law, regulatory practice, and sector integrity.

Vouris assumed leadership of Entain’s Australia and New Zealand business in August 2025. His career includes senior roles in Tabcorp’s multi-billion-dollar wagering and media division, leading global operations of an esports and betting platform, and partnering with investors on early-stage ventures in esports.

Compliance-driven priorities

Vouris has described his approach as rooted in governance and customer protection. He has outlined priorities of embedding a culture of “win, but not at all costs,” focusing on the fundamentals of selling bets, and introducing innovation with safeguards in place.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to speak at Regulating the Game 2026, which provides a unique global platform for advancing dialogue between regulators, industry, and thought leaders,” Vouris said. “At a time when public expectations and regulatory demands are at an all-time high, I look forward to sharing Entain’s vision for balancing sustainable growth, compliance leadership, and customer protection.”

Paul Newson, Principal at Vanguard Overwatch and founder of Regulating the Game, said Vouris’ contribution will add to the discussion.

“Andrew’s leadership vision for Entain, and his extensive track record across wagering and esports, bring an important perspective to Regulating the Game 2026,” Newson said. “His focus on culture, compliance, and innovation aligns strongly with the values of the conference, and we are thrilled to feature his insights as part of this year’s program.”

Program and awards

The 2026 conference will include several initiatives. Pitch! will take place at the Sydney Opera House on March 9, followed by the inaugural RTG Global Awards & Gala Dinner on March 10. Regulating the Game will also host an expanded exhibition program and expert masterclasses for next year's edition.
