Regulating the Game 2026 introduces Industry Spotlight Sessions in Sydney

International gambling law and regulation conference Regulating the Game (RTG) will introduce Industry Spotlight Sessions at its 2026 event, to be held 9–11 March at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

The new 15-minute sessions give leading manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers a platform to showcase products, share data and insights, and highlight trends shaping the industry. Only four sessions will be available, offering exclusive exposure to regulators, policy leaders, and industry decision-makers.

Industry Spotlight Sessions differ from RTG’s Pitch! event at the Sydney Opera House on 9 March, which focuses on emerging RegTech, compliance innovation, disruptive policy concepts, and safer gambling solutions. The new sessions are specifically tailored for established players to profile market-ready innovations, demonstrate commercial leadership, and share product strategies.

"The Industry Spotlight Sessions are being introduced at the request of industry attendees who wanted a dedicated platform to showcase pioneering products, strategies, and sector direction and insights,” Paul Newson, Principal at Vanguard Overwatch and founder of Regulating the Game, said.

“With only four Industry Spotlight slots available in 2026, this is a limited opportunity for organisations to put themselves front and centre before an international audience of regulators, policy leaders, and industry decision-makers.”

The addition of Industry Spotlight Sessions underscores RTG’s commitment to fostering innovation and shaping the future of the sector, organizers said. The sessions are designed to broaden dialogue, encourage cross-sector collaboration, and keep the conference at the forefront of regulatory and industry developments.

Other highlights of Regulating the Game 2026 include Pitch! at the Sydney Opera House on 9 March, the inaugural RTG Global Awards & Gala Dinner on 10 March, and an expanded exhibition showcase accompanied by a program of expert masterclasses.
