Regulating the Game Sydney 2027 opens call for speakers and unveils strategic partnership opportunities

Regulating the Game has officially announced that Sydney 2027 is taking shape, opening its highly anticipated Call for Speakers and launching exclusive partnership tiers for the upcoming global gambling law and regulation conference.

Spanning three days, Regulating the Game 2027 is built to strengthen regulatory and sector capability. The premier event will once again bring together international regulators, operators, policymakers, researchers, and advisers to examine the critical questions shaping the performance, credibility, and sustainability of regulated markets globally.

First Keynote Speaker

For the RTG 2027 program, organizers have confirmed their first keynote speaker: Carolyn Lidgerwood, Authority Member of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). Lidgerwood’s participation shows the conference’s commitment to bringing top-tier regulatory leaders to the stage to share insights, challenge orthodoxies, and shape the future of gambling compliance and ethical stewardship.

Call for Speakers Now Open

The program is meticulously designed to spark dialogue, foster collaboration, and advance best practices across policy, compliance, and industry. Regulating the Game is currently seeking thought leaders for various formats, including Keynotes, Featured Panels, Masterclasses, and the acclaimed Pitch! sessions.

Organizers are calling for speaking proposals that challenge industry assumptions, strengthen compliance practices, and contribute to the ethical stewardship of the sector. The deadline for speaker proposals is December 11, 2026.

Partnership Opportunities

To align with the strategic goals of participating organizations, Sydney 2027 has introduced tailored partnership tiers to elevate brand presence and thought leadership:

  • Marquee Partners: Designed for high-profile moments, offering exclusive alignments with five flagship events: the Gala Dinner, Global Awards, Opening Reception, Pitch@RTG, and the MasterClass.

  • Pillar Partners: For organizations looking to demonstrate substantive expertise, this tier aligns with the conference’s five core thematic areas: Safer Gambling, RegTech and Innovation, Compliance and AML, Leadership and Governance, and Sport and Wagering Integrity.

  • Activation Partners: Enhancing the delegate experience through essential touchpoints, from branded networking lounges to the official conference app.
