Principal, Lane Consulting & Advisory

Louise Lane is a trained lawyer and risk and compliance specialist with more than 20 years' experience designing and implementing compliance and risk frameworks across highly regulated sectors including media, gaming, gambling, wagering, sports administration, liquor, licensing and AML/CTF.

Louise has held senior executive and leadership roles with major Australian organisations including Endeavour Group, Racing Victoria, Crown Resorts, Consolidated Press Holdings, Consolidated Media Holdings and Publishing and Broadcasting Limited. Her experience spans compliance program design and build, corporate and regulatory transactions, board and corporate governance, and the management of complex multi-jurisdictional transactions and advisory services. Having spent years on the client side, Louise understands the realities of managing large change projects, budgets and competing priorities.

Lane Consulting & Advisory (LCA) was formed by Louise Lane in 2024 to provide focused, tailored, cost-effective and sustainable risk and compliance solutions. LCA works with senior management and in-house teams (including as a risk and compliance support service for in-house lawyers), as well as with external lawyers to navigate complex regulatory environments, with particular expertise in AML/CTF compliance. LCA maintains relationships with additional subject matter experts to scale as needed, ensuring quality and value at every stage of engagement.
